This book is not primarily about raw milk or the advocacy of it. It is about the human spirit and the reactions to it by those in positions of responsibility for the health and well-being of the citizens of Canada. Interwoven through the account of one farmer's constantly thwarted attempts to provide safely produced, quality dairy products to informed individuals, a mystery lurks behind the scenes. Why would our elected politicians allow government officials to spend millions of dollars of taxpayers' money on undercover operations, farm raids, criminal charges, and hours of valuable court tie to curtail the activities of one one farmer whose products have harmed no one and are appreciated by those who have now been declared potential criminals should they access them? This question remains unanswered, the reader is invited to ponder deeply. The answer ultimately lies with us as citizens of a country that prides itself on being a democracy.
