Jack has always been plagued by nightmares, and on the night of his thirtieth birthday his partner Molly once again finds herself fighting to wake him up to rescue him from whatever is troubling him. But this time it takes her longer to rouse him as half awake, half asleep, Jack is trapped in the place where it is perpetual midnight, and as always the eyes are watching him. Realising that Jack is being driven close to the edge, Molly urges him to seek help. Not wishing to frighten her, he gently pushes her away but, with their relationship falling apart, love may be the only thing that can save both of them.
